EWI is bringing the Reading Rally to LCAM!
The Corporate Reading Rally Committee wanted to do something different this year by bringing the Reading Rally to LCAM! Ms. Alisa Gans' second grade class from MacGregor Elementary School in Houston will join Academy of Leadership attendees in an exciting Reading Rally event held at the Academy of Leadership Luncheon on Thursday, September 27, 2007.
The event will feature the second graders parading in the luncheon, mascots from local businesses visiting with the kids and participants, a special book reading from author and illustrator Kay Douglas, EWI of Detroit-Windsor Chapter President, donations of books, school supplies, and a monetary donation to the school. A sea life theme will color the whole event. This is something you won't want to miss!

Reading Rally Tool-kit. Filled with awesome Reading Rally ideas, book labels and more, the Reading Rally Tool-kit is designed to make your Reading Rally a success! Tool-kits were sent to Chapter Presidents and Reading Rally Chairs in early July. Included in the tool-kits were instructions on how to order your Reading Rally T-shirts with the new design. You will be able to order directly from the printer. The Corporate Reading Rally Committee is proud to offer so many EWI members the chance to be part of this year's Corporate Reading Rally. Please consider contributing to the event through a Reading Rally partner-ship or signing up for an Academy of Leadership Module.
